I understand that it is a privilege to attend our Metropolis Camp & Retreat programs and will represent myself in a Christ-like manner.

I will refrain from using profane language and all illegal drugs, including alcohol and tobacco. I will turn in everything on the Technology/Leave At Home List upon arrival at camp, and I acknowledge that if I fail to do so the items may be confiscated or I may be dismissed from camp. I will read and agree to the Social Networking & Blogging Policy. I will read and abide by the Metropolis Dress Code.

I will abide by all the rules and guidelines that will be outlined to me by the Camping Ministries Coordinator, Youth Director, Clergy, Program Coordinators, the Camp Staff, and Camp Nazareth Staff. I will respect all property including housing and indoor/outdoor facilities.

I will be personally responsible for my actions and if my behavior is not that of an Orthodox Christian, I will be asked to leave the camp. I understand that curfew violations are grounds for immediate dismissal from the camp.

As a camper, I will not drive to and/or from camp.

I understand that the Camp Ministries Coordinator or Youth Director, in the presence of a priest or staff member, reserves the right to search the bags, suitcases or rooms of anyone who is suspected of possessing drugs (including alcohol, tobacco products, etc.) or other prohibited items.

I agree to the above Code of Conduct and understand that failure to abide by it may result in my removal from the Metropolis-sponsored activity.

Media Policy: Your child's photos may appear in the Metropolis website Photo Gallery. Also, we reserve the right to use any photos or videos for promotional materials. If you do not wish for your child's photos to appear in such materials, please contact Maria Phyrillas before summer camp at [email protected].

Forms Policy: All forms (fully completed), must be submitted at camp registration upon arrival. No camper will be permitted to stay without the completed form.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Cancellations before May 15th will receive a full refund.
Cancellations from May 15th-June 1st will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations June 2nd or later will receive no refund.

I agree to uphold all Covid-19 safety guidelines put in place by the Metropolis of Pittsburgh Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries for this event. I understand and assume the risks involved with sending my child to camp. I agree to evaluate my camper honestly and to the best of my ability prior to the arrival at camp, to ensure that my camper is not sick or does not have any Covid-19 related symptoms or positive test. If my child has any illness symptoms, tests positive, I will not send them to camp. I understand that the Metropolis and Camp Nazareth is not at fault if I contract COVID. I understand that failure to comply will directly effect my participation in Summer Camp and future events.
